Brian Fennelly writes: "Here's the announcement of the May 7th NYC concert with the Orchestra of the League of Composers at the Skirball Center at Washington Square, NYC, a program that includes composers associated over the years with NYU. Included is the NY premiere of my Fantasia Concertante(2009), written for the fabulous young violin/cello duo Madalyn and Cicely Parnas (duo parnas) as soloists with orchestra, a piece they premiered just last year at Indiana University. It's an extremely varied program, and I hope you will be able to attend!

The Washington Square Contemporary Music Society will celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the New York University Department of Music, FAS, on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 8:00 PM. The Orchestra of the League of Composers will present music of past and present NYU faculty and alumni at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts.
