NYCC composer member Simona Smirnova will be performing live as a jazz duo with a pianist Gabriel Chakarji at the Red Room (85 E 4th St, New York, NY). Simona will be singing jazz standards, her own compositions, playing the Lithuanian traditional zither kanklės, and theremin. This performance is a starting residency of monthly shows. Simona will be performing at the venue every second Friday of the month.
