Richard Russell’s musical in New Jersey

A children’s musical with music by Richard D. Russell is having four performances in Rockaway, NJ on the weekend of June 5-7. (The book and lyrics are by Emily Clare Thompson.) Address and details are on the flier below.

Comps are available for the June 6, 7:30 performance by emailing your request to RDRussell2 @ gmail DOT com. (Although if a different performance is more convenient for you, it should be possible to arrange for comps for the other three performances.)

(And yet: the Saturday evening performance includes a wine and cheese reception, so that’s the one to shoot for!)

Although nominally a children’s show, the musicals’s message of tolerance and acceptance should appeal to any audience. The diversity of experience is highlighted with a score that embraces country, Caribbean, blues, and even a conga! The cast is a mixture of adults and children.
